Why Did We Update BANG! ... ?

Like the Universe itself, our knowledge about the Universe is expanding at an ever-increasing rate. Though much of the background science remains valid for years, or even decades, any book which attempts to synthesise the results of current research needs regular updating. 

This website is intended to fill the gaps between new editions of Bang!, and specific queries are answered to the best of the authors abilities. One year after publication of the first edition of Bang!, it is time to release a new edition. “Bang! up to Date” includes the most significant findings of 2006-2007, with some fabulous new photographs.
